December closed weeks

During our closed weeks in December, we had new shelving built in situ for the very large maps in one of our store rooms.

This allows us to store the maps safely, means that we can find them easily and gives room for expansion.

As well as work in the stores, we also brought our online catalogue up to date to incorporate all changes made since July, including over 20,000 records which have been edited or added since then. A big thank you to all our volunteers who have helped us with this on-going work. We completed the listing of St Chad’s parish (a further blog post will give further details on this) and processed a number of new accessions and books.
