When: Tuesday 17 September 2019

Time: 2pm-3.30pm

Where: Shropshire Archives

Your visit will include an introduction to how to use Shropshire Archives as well as seeing the archive stores where over 5 and a half miles (9 kilometres) of records are housed in environmentally controlled conditions. You will also see the work of the conservation and reprographics sections.

The records on display showcase items recently received into the archives. These include 20th century cartoons from a Shrewsbury business, diaries of a First World War trench map maker, and cards used in an elegant 18th century parlour game.

Refreshments will also be available.

This event has been very popular in past years, so early booking is advised. We have two disabled parking spaces, so please advise us if you need to book one of these. Y
